Employment Opportunities
We do not currently have any paid employment openings. However, if you are interested in any future seasonal intern or permanent
positions with NH LAKES, please feel free to submit a cover letter and resume to NH LAKES at
info@nhlakes.org
or 3 Silk Farm Road, Concord, NH 03301.
Volunteer Opportunities
The New Hampshire Lakes Association encourages volunteer
participation in YOUR organization. Opportunities exist to
volunteer from your home, or in Concord, for whatever amount
of time you can give. There are "once a year" as well as
on-going opportunities to volunteer. For more information,
call 226-0299, or e-mail
us.
OFFICE VOLUNTEERS help with mailings and other tasks at
our office in Concord, as the need arises.
EDUCATION VOLUNTEERS are trained to make 1-hour
presentations to lake and watershed associations, introducing
them to two water quality monitoring programs currently
available to them (the NH Dept. of Environmental Services'
Volunteer Lakes Assessment Program and the Lakes Lay Monitoring
Program offered by the Univ. of NH), as well as the NH LAKES' own
Watershed StewardTM Program.
LEGISLATIVE VOLUNTEERS call or write their elected
officials to support or oppose bills (we provide names,
addresses, background material, etc.) and/or attend
hearings/testify in Concord. There is also the opportunity to
serve as a Legislative Point Person for your local lake
association (organize volunteers and keep them informed with
information supplied by NH LAKES). For more information, contact
Jared Teutsch.
